According to the Seewald family blog, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and her husband Ben know the gender of their baby. In a blog post titled “Grateful and Blessed,” the couple divulge details about Jessa’s pregnancy and reveal they’re aware if they’re having a boy or a girl. “Baby Seewald is growing steadily and Mommy has been feeling some little, yet strong, kicks!” writes the couple. “We recently had an ultrasound, but aren’t revealing our firstborn’s gender yet. Can’t wait to welcome this blessing from God into the world!” The reality stars also thanked fans for their support in the post. Their comments come in the wake of the Duggar family’s recent scandal. “Our little family is, by God’s grace, going to continue seeking to lively point people to Christ and encourage those who are down,” reads the post. “God’s goodness and kindness to us even in difficult times is humbling and wonderful.” The couple’s decision to keep their child’s sex private follows a report published by Radar Online last month which claimed the TLC stars were unsure if they wanted to announce their baby’s gender. “We’re actually thinking about keeping it a secret, like just Ben and I know, but we’re not sure,” Jessa reportedly said during her visit to Cross Church Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas, on April 28.
