'The Standing Alternating Dumbbell Hammer Curl is a great exercise that targets the the deep muscle in the bicep called the brachialis, as well as the forearms. To get started: 1. While standing, hold a pair of dumbbells, hanging by your sides, with a neutral palms facing in grip. 2. Keeping your back flat, squeeze your biceps and slowly curl one dumbbell up to the point where your thumbs are near your shoulders. 3. Under control, slowly lower the dumbbell back to the starting position while flexing your triceps at the bottom of the range of motion. 4. Continue alternating arms for reps.
