'Link to my favorite Monster Decline Bench is here https://www.titan.fitness/strength/benches/adjustable/max-adjustable-fid-bench/400554.html This video shows the highest quality Titan bench press sold. This is the Titan MAX adjustable FID Bench. I think it was originally just called the adjustable decline bench. So to begin with, the material workmanship here is higher than I have seen on previous Titan products. The covering material seems to be a heavier gauge and the pad itself thicker and more firm. I hate to banter around the term commercial but this is definitely a notch above anything I have seen from them. How it will hold up over time remains to be seen but in a home gym setting I would think it will do well. In a true commercial setting well, you know that all depends on the shenanigans that the members are allowed to get away with. We\'ve all seen mistreatment of equipment that leaves you shaking your head in those environments. I will just leave it that I am impressed here. That said, I also love the look and feel of REPS 400 plus dollar bench. For my use, this bench is just more versatile having all the MONSTER decline positions. The bench comes in at 92 LBS. and is double tube design. I have to admit when I ordered this, I had little in the way of reviews other than a couple on the Titan site. The review that stood out was that the actual bench exceeded expectations. I wanted a good decline bench and I was replacing a good Inspire FID bench. The Inspire was good but had about a 20 degree decline which seems to be about standard for most FIDS. Until this beast entered the scene. First off though, I was worried about stability because this thing does have some wild adjustments. Surprisingly for me weighing about 192 LB this thing is rock solid in every position. Again the pads are well covered and firm for support. It does have a gap pad included to fill the hinge gap but in the decline position I don\'t feel a need to use it. Its nice to have for flat bench but again I got this for its decline ability. The gap pad has a velcro system that attaches it to the bench when not used to keep it from wandering off. I have tried the incline positions and they all work well. The flat position with the gap pad works well. The gap position itself is actually not bad. The bench is tough with a rated 600 LB. capacity. Well within my decline range. I understand some power lifters may get over that limit, but I don\'t think this a bench. will draw the attention of someone with that goal. In that case, they would nail a nice competition ready flat utility bench. Okay with 10 positions on the long board and 7 on the short, pretty much every decline and incline angle is hit. This bench goes vertical lol. Maybe try some abdominal stuff there and you\'ll have a fight with your abs. In the decline range, one of the nice things is that the leg rollers here are actually in the right place. It really does feel like your on a commercial decline bench in the gym locked and loaded for the lift. I have a another FID bench and it has a pretty decent leg roller position but this bench for me is spot on. By the way its not that I\'m picky but the whole leg position issue is the reason I parted with my inspire FID bench. The Inspire terrible in that aspect. The leg attachment comes off when you are using the bench in the incline position. Again I\'m going to give credit where its due. I have tried some REP benches and a couple are really good options and the new Titan FID single foot design in pretty nice for the price point. Although I will get off a tangent here. It seems Titan raised the price from the old design not for materials so much but more to match REP for the same style. Okay now back on track. For 449.00 this MAX adjustable bench is money well spent. I had looked around and most start at about 695 .00 for the same type of quality. If Titan ever gets back to discounting again it will be an even better deal. FREE shipping and this is 92 LBS plus boxing of freight here. I love this bench so far. Finally was it all Kool Aid I\'m drinking here, nope. Fed EX struck again. This bench was well boxed not loose like I have seen some stuff in the past. I mean real packaging materials. That said this thing being about 90% assembled, other than the pads, base foot and rollers must have got rocked in the box. One of my pin pull knobs had a chunk out of the plastic knob missing from rocking around inside the box. Titan will be sending part number 10 this week. I will follow up with that. It works and I can use it, but I paid for a new bench and that is what they are providing sending out the new knob. Bottom Line So for a home gym decline bench. I give this sexy beast a 5 of 5.'
