'The Alternating Seated Incline Dumbbell Hammer Curl is an isolation exercise that works the biceps and forearms. By adding an incline, you take the bicep through an even greater range of motion when compared to a traditional standing dumbbell curl. The lower you set the bench, the more challenging the exercise. Adjust the bench to an incline that feels comfortable for your shoulders. To get started: 1. Sit on an incline bench, then lay your back against the pad, while extending the dumbbells down towards the ground. 2. Hold the dumbbells with a neutral, palms facing in grip. 3. While keeping your elbow stationary, curl one dumbbell up towards the same shoulder, then under control, extend your arm to lower the dumbbell back to the floor. 4. As you lower one dumbbell, alternate sides by curling the opposite dumbbell. 5. Repeat for reps.
