'This weekend there were a couple of meets for the Cal Strength Team to compete at as tune-ups for the American Open, and the team brought their A-game to the show. Rob and Nicole made the trip out to Hawaii for their annual vacation trip, and just like last year they competed in the Hawaii Open while there. Meanwhile back home, the young bucks took the platform at the Max\'s Gym Open, put on by former Cal Strength lifter Max Aita, and showed off the improvements they\'ve made on this cycle. Highlights: - Nicole has a huge meet in Hawaii, posting a PR 62kg snatch, and a PR 78kg clean & jerk to hit that PR 140kg Total she\'s been chasing - Rob does nearly as well, posting a PR 145kg snatch and a 170kg clean & jerk for a big PR 315kg Total - Casey Hutnick hits a PR 65kg snatch and 75kg clean & jerk, and her 140kg Total qualifies her for the A session at the American Open - Shaheen Hashemian hits comp PRs all around, with a PR 120kg snatch, PR 136kg clean & jerk and PR 256kg Total - \"Uncle\" Charles Shipman hits a comp PR 116kg snatch and 130kg clean & jerk to post a new PR 246kg Total, going 3 for 3 in the snatch for the first time in his career - Nikolas Moro posts his first meet Total ever with a 91kg snatch and 110kg clean & jerk - Brent \"Fat Scott\" Hisaka hits a comp PR 116kg snatch and 140kg clean & jerk to tie Shaheen\'s Total  Connect with us via social media!
