'Pitri Tarpan - Vikram Betal - Bengali Pitri Tarpan is a story from \'Betaal Pachisi\', written nearly 2,500 years ago by Mahakavi Somdev Bhatt. These are spellbinding stories told to the wise King Vikramaditya by the wily ghost Betaal.   In Pitri Tarpan, Betaal narrates the story of a young girl Leelavati who gets married to a thief named Srikanto. However, Srikanto dies soon after their marriage leaving a pregnant Leelavati with her father. Leelavati\'s father marries her off a second time to an eligible bachelor named Madhu. Leelavati gives birth to a baby boy named Gandorpo. After the death of Leelavati and Madhu, Gondorpa goes to Gaya to perform the last rites of his parents. There he encounters the dilemma of paying ode to one of his two fathers. Will King Vikramaditya be able to give the right answer to this question?
