'How to Tie a Scarf For Men Welcome back, guys! Today I\'m going to give you the 4 main ways I like to tie my scarf. Scarves might seem like an intimidating item to fashionably blend into your outfit but once you know a couple different ways to tie them it becomes much more approachable. Scarves are very good for introducing an additional color or even another pattern to an outfit. Incorporating a scarf helps you also achieve a rather sophisticated look even if it\'s on a more casual men\'s outfit. #1 - The Drape (0:27) This is the easiest and probably one of the most common choices. The drape is simply allowing the scarf to \"drape\" over your neck. There is no knot or wrap involved at all. The only thing you want to keep in mind is a rather even length on both sides. You\'ll also want to make sure you tuck your scarf into your jacket, not only for the additional warmth but also to make sure your scarf isn\'t flying around freely during a windy day. #2 - The European Knot aka The Loop (0:51) This is a very great knot to start with when you\'re just learning to tie a men\'s scarf. You simply fold your scarf in half and then place it around your neck. Pull the scarf tails through the loop you just created from folding the scarf and then tighten the knot and you\'re done! Again this is one I like to tuck under my jacket because I think the top portion of the knot looks very clean. However, you\'re more than welcome to rock this knot without tucking your scarf I\'ve seen men do just that and it still looks fantastic. #3 - The Wrap (1:52) The wrap requires you to essentially use some of the principles you\'ve learned from tiring your tie. You start with one side longer than the other. I recommend two thirds the length of your scarf on one side and one third on the other side. Then cross the longer side of your scarf over the shorter side and around the back of your neck. The tails of your scarf should now be relatively even in length up front. #4 - The Bib (2:24) This is one of my favorites next to the European knot. You\'ll want to start with the scarf draped around your neck even on both sides of your body. Then cross one side over the other and pull bring it up through the loop that is now by your neck. Tighten the knot you\'re creating to a comfortable point and then allows the front tail to lay flat as you adjust it to your liking. this scarf borrows some concepts that are traditionally used when tieing a knot into your tie!
