'Our kids adopted from Ukraine quickly became used to American foods but they still enjoy some of the traditional Ukrainian foods, and they are always eager to try other Eastern European foods that are new even to them. Whenever we are nearby our local Eastern European grocery store they beg us to go in and get some treats. We don\'t always go because these foods are expensive in the U.S. but we all enjoy the times when we can go in and buy some things to try.
